Wohhh, great news! Last saturday 26th, we got very special news! A local underground website called Arquivo Metal CWB with other local underground supporters like Curitiba Underground, had organized a contest “The Best Of 2010″ called 1º Prêmio Ivo Rodrigues featuring the main Metal names of our hometown Curitiba into different genres! There where 10 categories and Offal was indicated for 2 ones: Best CD and best drummer and… Yeahhh, we got both ones, GREATTT!
Was really nice to get both ones especially ‘coz we didn’t ask any vote for our friends or something else, was really amazing to win the contest without any support of our local mates! We really would like to thank all organizers and people who have supported Offal for this prize!
For some people this kind of homage isn’t important or has no valour but was really great to be remembered for the local Metal Heads and for sure it’ll be a great kind of motivation to keep working hard on our upcoming stuff, thanks a lot to you all!
